Financial
support
Both the college and the government can provide the
support you need to make studying affordable.
Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2 courses
could be free to study, depending upon
your earnings and course eligibility.
So if your gross salary is below the relevant
threshold, you won't have to pay tuition fees!
Even if the course you choose isn't free and
your earnings exceed the salary threshold, you
can still benefit from our financial support.
04 Adult Course Guide 2020/21
Depending on your circumstances, the college may be able to offer you a
bursary - a grant you won't have to pay back. It can cover up to half of your
tuition fees and help with the costs of things like travel, food, childcare, course
equipment and trips.
Whether you qualify for a bursary depends on factors such as your household
income and how far away from college you live. Find out more on our website
or by speaking to our Financial Support team on 020 3667 0050.
Splitting tuition fee payment
If you have to pay for your course - and the cost is over £299 and
duration at least 16 weeks - we can help you manage the cost by taking
payment in instalments.
The first payment will cover 25% of your tuition fee plus any course exam and
admin costs. The other three payments will be for 25% of your tuition fee.
For students starting in September, you'll make your first payment at
enrolment, then remaining payments in October, November and December.
FREE Online flexible learning
We offer flexible and FREE short
courses that can be studied online, in the
classroom, or between the two.
Online flexible learning courses mean you can study
around other commitments, and to meet the entry
requirements of other, full-time courses, in the future.
You can learn more about online flexible learning on
page 12 of this guide…
