Apprenticeships
Ideal for those who prefer a more practical
style of learning, apprenticeships combine
on-the-job training with college-based
study.
Along the way you'll learn important transferable skills
and earn a salary. You'll also be working towards a
nationally recognised qualification.
Apprenticeships aren't just for school leavers.
There isn't an upper age limit - the level of your
apprenticeship will depend on your previous
experience and qualifications.
An Intermediate Apprenticeship relates to Level 2,
an Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3, and Higher
Apprenticeships are at Levels 4, 5 & 6.
Find out more about Higher & Degree
Apprenticeships on page 13.
For more information you can attend an Apprenticeship Recruitment session on
Wednesday afternoons, 1 - 4.30pm, at our Rush Green campus.
Alternatively call our Apprenticeship team on 020 3667 0333.

You can get an Advanced Learner
Loan to help with the cost of your
Access course - and then not have
to pay it back!
Completing your Access course and
then going on to complete a Higher
Education programme means your
loan gets written off!
If you're aged 24 or under, unemployed, not currently studying, and
struggling to get your first job, a traineeship could be the perfect option.
Traineeships give you the skills and experience needed to progress into an apprenticeship, fulltime study,
or employment.
Traineeships can last from 6 weeks up to 6 months, and they're a great way to get real
work experience. You spend most of your time in the workplace, and the rest of it in college
developing the key skills employers look for.
Call us on 020 3667 0455 for details of traineeships available through
the college, or to discuss your options further.

42 year old Oluwaseun was born in the UK but went to
college in Nigeria and studied journalism and administration.
After leaving college, she worked in the leading media house
in Nigeria called Punch Newspapers as an adverts executive.
Oluwaseun completed her Access to Nursing course in
2018 having gained distinctions in every single module. "I
looked forward to going to college every day. The staff are so
supportive and they make sure they settle you in properly.
Lecturers never, ever tire of explaining things over and over
again if you need them to. It's a great place to learn." She
applied to five universities and got offers from all five! She's
chosen to go to Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford, to do a
three year degree in Paediatric Nursing.
